Stickfigures are a species indigenous to the world of pen and paper. They are forthcoming and have big hearts.

In their world there is no crime. They do not discriminate. They do not cheat on their taxes. They do not leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot. They live by what is in their hearts and don’t sweat the small stuff.

Stickfigures are proud of their heritage and use the historical name of their kind as often as they can in conversation. They believe in magic and feel that good luck is a birth rite. Stickfigures live to help you
communicate in a sweet simple manner.

StickFigure Greetings was created by a memory of sweet necessity.
The creator, Matt Grubbs, grew up on a ranch which meant riding horses, which meant getting bucked off once in a while, which meant having a jaw that didn’t work...just as the new girl in town got a job at the local cafe in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. In order to communicate, he drew stickfigures on a napkin to ask her out.

Years later, while working as a ski instructor in Aspen, Colorado, he met his partner, Bernadette Mannix Feeney, while teaching her to ski. She saw something in the simple stickfigure logic drawn on some cards he had created, and invested in the effort.
Along came the idea of etching the stickfigure humor in chocolate, and the first ever solid chocolate greeting joined the line.

Matt lives in Aspen and spends time in Las Vegas, where the line is printed. Bernadette lives with her family in Concord, Massachusetts.

Please check out what the line has evolved into and watch us grow.
We welcome any comments, questions or suggestions you may have, and look forward to hearing from you.
